For those of you living in the ways of Jesus, you probably know that there is a movement towards justice happening within the Church here in America. I purchased my first sweatshop-free t-shirt in 2003 and have been on a journey to live out justice ever since. Six years later, I’m finding myself burned out, tired and wondering if there is a better way to “do” justice.
Over the next month, I will be doing a study on justice as righteousness. I am bringing righteousness into the mix because Biblically, the two words are synonymous with one another. Thus, I figure that the only way to understand justice through the eyes of God is to understand His righteousness, of which I know little about.
